Synopsis
A bereavement therapist begins to tell her clients exactly what she is thinking
Disregarding her education and ethics, she discovers that she makes huge changes in people’s lives, including her own. Check the list of renewals and cancellations to see if your favorite show has been successful. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they managed to bring Harrison Ford into the series, Siegel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type”.

Siegel told Goldstein that they should give it to Ford first, because they thought he would immediately back out, but at least other people would know that Harrison Ford was involved in the project, which would free up interest from other major actors. Goldstein eventually talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still does not understand what he did to convince her, but, nevertheless, he cheered up.

Judging by the reviews I’ve read here, it seems like people either like this show or they really don’t like it, and it looks like it might depend on how the reviewers react to Jason Segal. I liked his films, and I think he is perfect for this role, and the appearance of Harrison Ford raises the series to an even higher level. The script is excellent, the story is fresh, the characters are original, but they don’t overdo it with the stereotypically weird.
I highly recommend it!
The relationship is complex and emotional, and very real human problems are well depicted. It can be laugh-out-loud funny, and the next minute bring tears to your eyes. I was very disappointed after the second series when I realized that I had to wait.
